# About Studio 48

Studio 48 is a boutique web design studio in Ashford, Kent. Small on purpose — you work directly with the people doing the work, senior from first call to final ship.

## Built, not assembled

Every site is designed and coded for you — no themes, no page-builder bloat, no site that looks like ten others in your town.

## Design that converts

Beauty and results aren't a trade-off. We refuse to choose between them.

## No black boxes

Clear process, honest timelines, and a site your team can actually run.

## Where

Based in Ashford, Kent. Working across Kent, the South East and the rest of the UK. Being in Ashford means most of Kent is inside an hour. It is a service-area business — there is no shopfront, and no street address is published. Clients outside Kent are worked with remotely.

## How the work runs

### 01 Discover

We start with your business, not your homepage. Goals, audience, constraints — the things that decide whether a site works.

- Kickoff workshop
- Audience & goals
- Content audit

### 02 Design

Art direction first, then interfaces. We design in the browser early so what you approve is what you get.

- Art direction
- UI design
- Prototypes

### 03 Build

Senior hands on the keyboard. Fast, accessible, maintainable front-ends with motion that means something.

- Front-end build
- CMS & integrations
- QA & accessibility

### 04 Launch & Grow

We ship carefully, then you move onto Care. Hosting, domain and amends stay with us so the site keeps earning after go-live.

- Launch & sign-off
- Care plan
- Ongoing amends
