# Web design in Tenterden.

Tenterden is twelve miles from the studio, across the Weald. We build sites for the independents, hospitality and rural businesses along the High Street and out through TN30.

Tenterden trades on being what it is: a broad High Street under lime trees, independent shops rather than chains, the steam railway, and vineyards and farm businesses in the country around it. Visitors come for exactly that, which makes the town's web problem specific — you are usually being found by somebody who is not local, deciding on their phone whether it is worth the drive, and who wants to know your opening hours and whether you are worth the trip before anything else.

The mistake that costs Tenterden businesses money is a beautiful site that hides the practical answers. If the hours, the address, the parking situation, the dog policy and the phone number are not immediately findable, a visitor thirty miles away picks the place that told them. We build these sites so the practical information is unmissable and the character is still intact — those are not competing requirements, they just get treated as though they are.

For the rural side — farm shops, vineyards, holiday lets, equestrian, agricultural services — the catchment is wide and the search terms are often broader than the town. Those sites need to be found across the Weald and into East Sussex, not just in TN30, and we set the service areas and content up accordingly.

Nearby: St Michaels, Rolvenden, High Halden, Woodchurch, Biddenden, Cranbrook, Appledore, Wittersham.

Typical local work: Independent retail and antiques; Pubs, cafés and restaurants; Vineyards, farm shops and rural businesses; Holiday lets and accommodation; Trades serving the Weald villages.

Twelve miles from the studio across the Weald — one of the easier trips we make, and worth doing in person for a first meeting.

## Can a Tenterden shop or pub get found by visitors before they drive over?

That is the main thing we set these sites up to do. It takes three things: a Google Business Profile with correct categories, hours and photos; a website whose name, address, hours and phone number match that profile exactly; and the practical answers — parking, dogs, bookings, opening times — stated plainly on the page rather than buried. Profile setup is included from the £595 tier upwards.

Prices are published rather than quoted on request, and are exclusive of VAT. A one-off build (Starter, Standard or Complete), then the Care plan at £50 a month after the site is signed off and live.
